These figures are really well made, they move nicely, great little uniforms, painted and finished well. But perhaps a bit too good. The breathing apparatus hasn't come out of the box yet because i'm worried it'll break, ditto the axes (the handles are only thin dowelling). The thinness of the dowelling is a prob too - the holes in the hands into which the accessories fit are a little too big so the megaphone swings round and the axes don't stay as in the pic. I'm nit-picking because they are extortionately priced! Heirloom quality!

good value for money my son loves these got such an imagintion on him when playing with them 1 thing though would have liked them to be able to stand but otherwise fab

I know these Firefighters are a bit on the expensive side, but they are very well made and will last for years!! We brought the fire station and fire house to go along side these firefighters. So we did spend a lot for the initial outlay, but my son is 3 and these will last a lot longer than the plastic toys that are not as durable will. Their arms and legs move so they can sit down or stand up. I brought these originally as my son's play therapist brought them over for him to play with - he cried for half an hour when she left with them (he is autisti - not a spoilt brat!!!)
